This class commenced with understanding the concept of placements of art boards and shapes . It was compelling to know how technically we can place different color sheets and understand get new colors. Secondly , we were introduced to Gestalt’s theory which was an ancient based theory on perception. Under this concept there were intiated to types of perception; similarity, closure, proximity. To understand closure concept we were given example of FEDFEX logo which has a hidden arrow between it . Similarity concept was explained through IBM logo which was only a game of lines and gaps. Practice of the same will help us absorb this concept better.
