This class began with chapter 1 of Metamorphisis by Franz Kalfa . First we comprehended about the author who was a German born as a Jewish in Prague. After that we started discussing the book which revolved around the character Greg . He was a busy salesman , workholic and devoted towards paying off his parents debt. One sudden morning he turns into a bug. The book was very descriptive, potraying each instance with adjective and emotions which helped us connect with the character and theme. The thunderbolt came in the picture when he wasn’t able to get up(due to transforming into a bug) and missed his office for the first time in 15 years . But no one cared the manager , parents started yelling . This part was a classic example and helped us learn “that how much ever good things you do in life that one wrong thing out of the ninety nine things would affect the world”.
