This lecture was commenced with different types of gradients.There are particularly 3 gradients which we applied in the class. Next we went on to the topic of blend . It was very interesting to understand blend. It completely help us evolve and explore illustrator. At first there were too many steps to comprehend with but with practice it seemed easier. We also discovered different types of blend which involved;reverse spine, replace spine etc. Then to understand the practical context of blend in real life we started using blend on text. This now took us on the adventure of text its sizes and lastly the appearence panel. The panel included distort and transform which helped us in roughening the edges.This class introduced us to colours in illustrator and different blends which made in more engrossing to learn.
