This class commenced with the discussion of Metamorphosis by Franz Kafka chapter 2 where most of the class wasn’t prepared for an informative discussion but everyone has a fair idea. Soon after quick reading of the chapter we started discussing the key words of the chapter.Like, astonishment ; the surprise of Gregor turning into beetle . Following many phrases like panic,adaptive,terrified, splendor,vain etc.This supported us in understanding the important parts of the story. Next after this the adjoining discussion of our next project started ‘Who Am I’ . In this we had to think of 10 phrases which describe yourself .This part of the class helped us question our own perception of one’s self .It assisted us in evaluating the perfect words which justify our own self. Hence, this class didn’t feel like an academic process but a self discovery lecture which help us identify our own personality.
