This class started with discussing different brush strokes. Where we could create our own brush strokes and patterns. The variations were quite interesting to learn . Applying those strokes on shapes made a real artwork. Soon after understanding brush strokes we moved to clipping mask . It helped us connect to Gestalt’s principles . It mainly associated with closure . During class we were given example of a fox picture and how we could turn and trace into shapes. We also explored the symbols which could be created and applied. It could be changed evenly using the the direction tool. Lastly , the class ended with discussing image tracing which helped in evaluating and revising the rastor and vector. The class helped us digitally understand the use of patterns and brushes.
