This class started with choosing best of 3 sketches of hands from the 30 sketches. After selecting the three sketches we had to convert those sketches into abstract . We had to sketch abstract in such a way that the essence of the hand doesn’t go. We researched and started mind maping our ideas . My first sketch portrays direction . Hence, I started thinking of objects giving direction like arrow , compass, map etc. This process of thinking of a simple hand and relating to objects started challenging our creativity.Abstract being one of the my favorite expression of art helped me understand the way of expressing the ideas .
