Today’s class was majorly about masking .Clipping mask is similar to that of illustrator .Vector mask doesn’t require certain shape whereas it requires a pen tool to separate the shape.Layering mask was one image on top of one another.

This is clipping mask. In this text is written and then an object is placed on the top . Next by two ways clipping mask is created first by pressing ALT and click. Secondly, side on layer options we click create clipping mask.The images can be moved accordingly. In the picture above picture fruits are clipped mask.In illustrator text is kept on top of image.

This is a movie poster . It is created through layering , vector mask mainly. Layering mask uses brush tool mainly black and white .Black helps in erasing whereas white helps in reviving the layer back . One more interesting part was use of grey color to reduce the opacity of the image.Next i applied vector mask by adding layer .

This concept of movie poster actually helped us apply masks practically .
