Today’s class was mainly about reviewing the second draft of ‘Who Am I ‘.But we had a long discussion on improving our essay which changed our perspective in some aspects. The class started with discussing the Indian Vs Western culture.Since childhood Indian children have been embed with decorum and welcoming guests. Where we are an history of joint family ,Culture, respect and traditions. Whereas the western culture has been following nuclear families and have raised their children to be independent. Then the highlighting topic was Parasites. It is a climber which is dependent has someone else’s food in Oder to survive. It is infectious , clingy and doesn’t stop spreading around. At first everyone thinks of this concept as negative annoying and irritating . But when we introspect and retrospect it is we children to our parents. Where we are dependent on them for food cling on to them . This doesn’t make us wrong. But this gives us a new way of seeing a thought.Being yourself was the message that was being passed and ringed in the class. There is no one negative and positive only humans which are different from one another. This struck our brains . Actions are the only thing that are considered negative or positive . A parasite which has been considered something bad changed the whole perspective of viewing a thing.Next part was one to one review which helped us improve ourselves and our essays.Where or actions didn’t justify us but the idea of reacting and replying to the situation which was who we are. My essay consisted of what i did more than who am i . Hence , these examples and feedback helped us refine our final essay.
