Today’s class commenced with sitting in our groups and identifying a quality of trait of any one person. There were several groups and each had different point and perspectives . Taking examples of several groups we started with our discussion upon observation. Where we understood how assumptions and personal point of view can help us understand a quality of a teammate which we can use for a productive output. But it can often also lead to a preset judgment and bias views leading on a pathway of conflict . On a collage level it might seem a cat fight but in professional world could lead to major issues . Hence understanding it with a practical example gave us an insight and a learning.Often when we become objective and come to a conclusion and the probability of us being wrong comes the generic cause of ‘EGO’. Where understood the mental psychology behind trust , insecurities and how we react with it .But what is the spot light that we need to understand is “Observation can lead to information.”
Then with this we started a small group actvity on our educational visit to Dr. Bhau Daji Lad Museum . Where each of us wrote something that firstly came up our mind and areason to why it is so unique. Next we had our teammate review our concept and what they thought about the idea . Instead of the human nature we ended up writing a comment on their perspective.
This lead us to the idea of questionnaire . The observation and conflict part set a definite base for creating a set of questions . Where even explored the formal , informal questions leading to the person being offended. This class gave us management and leadership to actually implement in real world.
