This class was about converting the color swatches into composition.
This was a swatch a dull colors with both dark and light .
This is inspired from the upcoming Halloween. As the image gave a scary dull dark mood.The gown is an illustration of butterfly. The background has a wallpaper of Halloween theme grey decor.This painting is done through acrylic colors. Converting colors into artwork gave the perfect feeling of the mood board helping get some inspiration.
As dark and dull the previous composition was this was similarly more of happy cheery artwork.The painting is a bit messy but the essence of paris and fashion is captured . This artwork had equal amount of dark and light colours. The swatches gave the right emotion and helped create this thought and design. The bright sky and gown are complementing the dull interiors.
Converting swatches into composition not only gave ideas but helped explore new tones and temperature . Even using paint was interesting opening us to new mediums added to our toolbox of skills .
