INTEGRATIVE SEMINAR

7/10/2019

This class i was absent and this is what i summarized and understood from my classmates who were present. There were certain pictures showcased in the class on which captions and comments were given . Initially it was very much cliques and then opened up many perspectives. This taught the idea of thinking out of box.

We had groups formed and we visited CSMT station(Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus). Where during different times of the day we captured various moments and aspects. Among those we had to choose three best and write a Haiku,limerick,7 word story or 280 word story.

“Destiny is a big question,

Journey of life is a big lesson,

At the end of the day with every sunset,

There is a suitcase full of regret,

But roads are made for journeys and not destination”

“The Islamic curve is summer,

Peepal tree symbolic of Buddhism is Spring,

Gothic western curve is Autumn,

Each culture is a weather,

Unique and necessary in its own way,

No question of wrong/right.”

This is the giant clock that has been at the station ever built .It is an ancient and Britain style clock . It was the first ever station ever built. This station has gone through many changes be it the name, system or the infrastructure.

But the biggest change was after the attacks of 26/11.Many people were killed . There were many families lost at this station on the night . Just two teenage boys could take millions of lives. The most scary part was people were lying in the corner of tracks in midnight where thousands of germs , mouses were biting them to death but fear of being murdered by bullets was letting them survive the torturous night. But still there was a bomb blast taking away those innocent lives. But what stayed the same until today is the vintage clock . It kepps ticking and moving its hands going through centuries.

A memorial was made for people who lost their lives . The station has through many changes by rebuilding , increasing security etc. People come and go , time change but what is immortal is this clock continues moving.
