Today’s class was the perfect example of education out of classroom .We visited a school for disabled . Though it was difficult to reach there the knowledge we attained was a life long learning. Being in different groups according to our career type we had to research and understand accordingly. This school had approximately 50 students . With all kinds of challenges from visually impaired to autism and wheelchair students . Firstly we started researching according to our interest my being fashion.Where through the caretakers of the students we understood what kind of problem do they face during washroom in context to clothes. For boys mentally challenged one zipper was the main concern. For children with a balancing gear it was difficult to wear full length bottoms as they often got stuck. For girls mainly during periods it was a big concern . As they can’t realize or even be able to change their pads. After this part of research we had a talk with the principal . This is where we attained the most knowledge. It was about students different therapies like music, speech therapy how each kind of student was handled. Even getting to know about various muscular problems where clothes was a big question . This class was a seeding stage of new ideas .

I even created a jeans for wheelchair disabled . The information is described in the below power point presentation.
