Today’s class was about firstly submitting our 18 sketches . The sketches were interactions of which we had clicked pictures.The sketches were difficult to do at once mainly hair and hands . As giving the same effect of hair was complicated to show with pencil rendering technique. Next after doing these we had to choose one interaction and create concepts on wearable . This was our brainstorming part . Where we had to concentrate on our theme of self-defense and create wearable . The arduous part was our concepts at first all are ideas was one person wearable but we had to create interactive wearable which could be worn by two people.
The practice is what improved the sketches .This project also took the teamwork factor one step ahead . Where trying to match two drawings as in to give the same essence was a difficult part. Like in the above images by using different pencils side hatching the hair was shown . Similarly for shoes normal hatching and the jeans hollow part cross hatching was used .The rendering techniques taught in drawing class were used to communicate the idea. It was an add on factor .Where it showed a huge difference . Like i had done the shading and in similar drawings my teammate avoided this idea . Therefore this class taught many things related to drawing, teamwork, ideas and solving obstacles in a concept.
