Today’s class was mainly developing a sequence to the whole idea. This is where our interactions about each space was decided but according to the context and concept we had to formulate the whole idea.Where coming up with a definite concept and discussing in the group . Then we came up with something vintage to modern style was very much important.But in that also we had many obstacles regarding it becoming plain .Then we came up with an idea of making it a cube with floating staircase all over as the part of station being our central idea.Then as we continued brainstorming through the context we came up with our concept as going back in time.Where we could start with modern aesthetics and go back in time to the roots . For this the next step was deciding upon the materials . Where we started with something related to metal sheets and’ pvc’ pipes. To give it more of an ancient look we came up with the idea of using brass instead of normal aluminium. Then to understand the feasibility of the idea we visited the workshop where with the help of machines and guide we could give shape to our idea.After discussing our idea in workshop we came to a conclusion using metal pipes would make the final product complicated and difficult to achieve. Hence , we decided to use’ MDF’ sheet as wood would be easy to work with and would have the touch of vintage to it. As an when we discussed our ideas we explored various materials we could use mainly acrylic sheets .This session was mainly about exploring reconciling at each step making use of better and better ideas to build upon the final project.
