Today’s class was the final class which had an output through weeks of research and learning of the elective . Today was our final submission of the project which was mainly divided into 3 parts ;research project,school project and final project. Starting with our research project which was mainly was concentrated on wheel chair disabled and blind . But the outcome was mainly for wheelchair disabeled .
This was a jeans for disabled which was loose comfortable and easy to wear . The below attached file is a detailed layout of the jeans.
Next project was the school project which was a detailed research on the disabled friendly school ‘Anandi school’. Where we got an opportunity to explore various aspects and take out solutions accordingly .
So as per solution i explored various stretchable fabrics and how it can be used for both cerebral palsy and muscular syndrome dystrophy. Mainly explored fabrics were lycra, cotton lycra , power net.
Next i even approached with a solution where wrap around clothing could be used for musclar problems . Mainly for for cerebral palasy .
Lastly , the learning from this project and this elective is infinite . Where at each point there was a leaning or a lesson. Be it group projects, technicality of an actual product or obstacles in obtaining the fabric. The best part was we didn’t have a definite format but good enough liberty to explore various aspects of a topic . It was everything learning inside and outside the class.
Lastly a life learning from this project that i would like to spread as a message from symbol sticks in the picture above . It was after and during the visit the most important thing i learnt was from the children at school who were in pain and n number of issues some even had limited life would’t be sure of the very next moment but they had a big smile. True happiness which did’t rely on materialistic of lack of things in life but was just a smile that spread like air . We teenagers or any human are sad upon small things being the flaw of body like fat , short or any other problems . But what’s important is happiness which is a choice and an attitude everyone chooses .Below attached is a detailed of the project .
