Today’s class was more about understanding different styles of presenting. We had various examples showcased mainly relating to Hindu mythology. We had different ways shown of a regular thing . Like for example a forest which mainly most people were using due to fauna . Where the image had a unique way of showing the jungle instead of tall trees there were leaves hanging in a different way . The color combination was more graphic animated which made it look appealing . Next part where we understood what to use according to the setup . For example a potato was showcased in the class where it was lazy and to show his age various elements were used . For a toddler potato in a class to show alphabets and numbers and similarly for a elder person more of complicated things like algebra. Next thing to enrich and communicate the idea would be giving features to the character like a mustache , beard etc . Even fashion like different clothing or an accessory would be add on . These elements and pointers were useful for us in Oder to make our final zine . The format was also decided which majority of people use . Therefore,the class helped us in learning a new ways of presenting ideas and the illustrations presented in the class and inspired us in improving our zines.

I also tried out colors background that would go with my zine. This experiment helped in understanding the best suited color.
