Today’s class i was absent but this is what i summarized from my classmates. So today’s class was mainly an introduction to invisible cities by Italino Calvino . It is a novel where a traveler visits imaginery cities actually in his own place Venice. At the end there is a conversation between the emperor and the travelor where he explains and argues. So mainly this story evovles around an emperor who has conquered n number of territories is wealthy . But through his travellor imaginery comes to know the world which all is an illusion. The book is filled with metaphors which are deep enough to think and understand the writers point of view. Lastly, we were assigned to make a mind map in groups on topic given regarding the writer to give a deeper perspective in the story.How getting to know an author’s history can help us connect the dots in the book is what i learned . How in any field a deep research is never a waste .
