Today’s class i was absent . But later i attended an extra class to cover up and also discussed with my classmates and this is what i gathered from everything. So a new software was started caleed in design in adobe . So this is mainly for effective layout. Many tools were very similar that of illustrator and photoshop . The most amazing fact that i understood was the concept of bleed and slug while creating new documents. The most common thing to which i never really thought of . This concept is mainly used while printing . Where a certain space is always left on the paper edges in oder to print it . But bleed assures an edge to edge print by changing sizes of the paper . Slug is instructions around the paper for any specifications in printing. Then the gradient feather which seemed so smooth and calm . With transparency it created amazing effects. Eye dropper tool also very useful to fill in colors according to the theme going around.The others were the same typography , pen pencil tools etc. The layout which was very differentwhere we could see an overall book or project at the same time.
These were just swatches and trials of what all tools are there and their features . Creating a new gradient was always an issue .But with using gradient it became easy .
