Swastika symbols which we see in our daily lives as a part of rituals . But as a part of history it has many turns and twists that are unexpected . Starting from the symbol which actually symbolizes auspiciousness, good fortunes but sice thousands of years also meant slaughter of millions . Where the different angles signify different meanings .
Starting from objects as swatika symbol on them are many in different cultures . Starting from the Harppan civilization which had so many geometric strutures. Where through line weights and spacing variations were created . The most common use of these symbols were for seals in this civilization .
The two objects that i found and downloaded the picture from harrpan civilzation are:
- Faience button seal (found in 2000-01)
This was found on the floor Swastika motifs. It potrays somehow a standard use and has complex geometric design among the another designs . It seems a tiny peice used for the basic well being .
