This was our review class where we had to present our test prints of the booklet .This was our review upon the weeks of project on which we have been doing and innovating . This project was a collab with integrative seminar and studio . This was a project named dream cities where we have been preparing a book and layouts . It was mainly placed and formatted on indesign . But figures , characters were traced and created on photoshop and illustrator .
It taught me so many basic differences like it is best to create a clipping mask on illustrator or tracing and editing which is to be done on illustrator .It was a whole process . Even the process of printing booklet . It had so many steps which were not only bleed , slug but adjustments, sizes etc . It still seems a tedious process but practicing and knowing is helping .
This was my folder which i created before review comprising step by step the process . The assest export is also something new i learnt which helped setting the final layout .
My review mainly had alignment errors like the page numbers and they being too huge it actually took away the attention . The title and its text style didn’t go with my theme . Hence i improved on my mistakes and errors .
Therefore this project taught many things . It was not only limited to technicalities but creativity collaboration of subjects and being able to do work in certain boundaries. The printing also taught so many things from technicaties of being able to stick to the settings .
