Today was our final review on our project .It was a class where we had to present our complete project with process , display our work from scratch .
Starting redoing my iterations devoping gateway which not only appealing but covering maximum space . The layers which started from a rainbow which had texture in each line from dots as a symbol of sparkle to shapes . Next laywe was full of clouds and unicorns which was carved as a negative space . The third layer being hot hair balloon which required very intricate carving . Where i carved four mini hot air balloon . The fourth layer which was a tree which showcased death and life in times city . The leaves here showed life and abaneded branches tree showcased death . A part of city where life and death took place . The last layer being sunrays and skull and bones which again showcase a deeper symbol of life and death . These layers indeed seemed tedious as it was only white paper but no soooner it became very interesting .
As per my review my symbolism was strong but the intricate layers were very hidden at the back .So my placement could have been neater and properly sequenced .Overall this project not only taught different tools and the art of intricate cutting but also taught patience and believing in the process .
The combination and connection with seminar and using abstraction and symbolism from first semester helped us move one step ahead .
