Today was a class where we started with a very interesting movie . It was a marathi movie named “Harishchanchi Factory”. It was a movie released in the year 2009 . The movie had many stories going on simultaneuosly .
It was a movie based on the legendary director who got motion picture in india in the year 1913 . The movie had a very different approach in terms of Britsh people . As each movie has brishers shown as protagonist who ruled India for many years . But this movie actually showcased how they helper Harishchandraji to learn how to use camera and create films . Even when his movies got famous they actually offered him opportunities . This movie is directed very differently in terms direction story . The effects of zoom in and out was also used very interestingly . This movie had humour and very different perspective . Where it showcased the society and Mumbai known as Bombay in that century . How people had emotions for objects . The term acting especially for women was considered ill . This movie was not one genre based film but a mixture of many emotions . Being a real story it gave so many inspirations in terms of dreams how the main character was considered mental or even after being temporirliy blind he never gave up . Overall this film was pheonmenal .
Next was our project where we had to deconstruct films and groups of 5 were created . Each era was given . Where i got 1966 to 1980 which seemed boring and tedious . But exploring retro theme and decontructing them was very different .
