Today’s class where we discussed our materials . This was a 2 week pallette cleanser project where we had to choose 2 materials which was form of waste . Therefore we planned on cork and silicon . Where we took burned cupcake silicon rubber moulds and cork . Cork wasn’t arranged and we couldn’t execute the project due to lockdown . But instead we had a feasible plan and design for our product drawn . We even reserched upon mechanical things like the melting point . Where we discovered it can be melted at home in oder to stichk and attach . Both are materials are highly durable and water and oil resistant . Our main motto was working with challenging and really different materials in oder to explore . Therefore the presentation below goive a detailed information for the same .
We even saw our classmates project research on what they created .How people combined two materials for example hemp and other materials . It gave us so much insights to explore for future . The best part of this project was to try without using any kind of sticking agent .
Overall this project connected to last semester’s subject space and materiality which gave us a lot of direction and learnings in oder to execute and understand this project .
