Today’s class main agenda was to discuss the ideas . We mainly started with discussing our last movie which was left due to its non availability . It taught us high level of patience and calmness in such a disturbing visuals . Being a 70s movie it was highly blur and half the movie had its audio and video playing very much differently . But serenity was the only solution . Hence , a few no. of playbacks and reading the history and plot beforehand helped to accumulate these points and give a basic understanding .
Next was the ideation process where we discussed upon each ones ideas . We had a pre discussion and gave our opinions upon each others ideas . Where there was recreating the iconic scenes ,giving it a modern effect . Next was a spinner wheel and a poster idea where we could actually combine the idea to have something unique .
Then my ideas for the era was to be something directly related to it .But a unique way .I started with train as i was trying to base my ideas upon the common things . The train as a 3d model and then having a backgound playing iconic films . It showing a journey . Similarly i had hologram and kailedscope . The kailscope seemed like a feasible yet different idea very asthetic to that era .
Now we had to come with a theme . Instead of random common things . Something that spoke loud about that era . We also had controversies as our major topic which was very important to emergency . It spoke so many things . How each movie and each prospect was affected by the emergency .
Overall this class had many learning from group work to knowlege and reviving history .
