Today’s class was about Hindu mythology . It spoke so much about statues and sculptures . We started with Lord Vishnu’s sculpture . It had so many features behing the layer of dirst and rust . Being dark and rusted we had to analyse minutely . Like the vishnu’s statue had 16 hands with so many weapons . Each one in the class gave so many insights relating to their culture i also connected .
Next we started analysing lord shiva’s two murtis and how each of them were different . One was normal other potrayed anger through tandava . Where a discussion of natya and its expression came uponn . I actually connected my 7 years of Kathak and how Tandava and its each chapter had a story like even expressions . Similarly we had a lot of discussions upon the topic . It seemed so intresting to work and understand upon . I also created a draft of my final submission of museum pictures .
Overal this class had many new things we came to know about and even sprked the fire to read and understand more about Hindu Mythology .
