Today’s class where we had to get a jacket , shirt , jeans . This class focused so much on the basics understanding clothing category , the production of fibres with its processing . It was quite fascinating to know the technical process which gave us insights into the reality .Especially understanding how a pineapple’s part can be converted into a fibre . Understanding fabrics is always confusing but this class taught many things .
The next part of this class very we understood the bsic components of some very common garments . We started from shirts , pants , blazers . It was very new to understand the technical terms but felt so phenomenal . Then we had to take our personal garments from the wadrobe sketch them and list their components . This gave us a realistic undertanding of garments we actually see everyday .
The last part where as homework we had to explore more on fibre to fashion where we had to understand five plant fibre and man made fibre . There we explored fibres which was really different but had similar known materials . Overall second week had quite many new elemts but it was all very important in long run.
