Due to being unable to attend the lecture with help of my friends i summarized the class.The class was mainly about reviewing our essay from our peers and also giving our views on their essay.It was our first draft of “Who Am I “. It was engrossing to know about people completely new to you. The way the title justified them like my peer had Islands between ocean rather than million trees in a forest . The whole essay spoke about being unique and extrovert . Where my classmate preferred small groups and Netflix over socializing. It was a self learning from others and gave more knowledge on how an essay can be improved or the content altered . Similar way my essay reviews were more emphasis was needed on metaphors. I spoke more about my life rather than personality. My emotions were very well portrayed but required the medium of metaphors.
Then the class moved on to next topic of “TRUST” where we started from small basic trust of Santa Clause which was just an illusion our whole childhood. Similar way an example was discussed by mam on she being betrayed by her friend on some kind of picture. This was an adjoined topic to Trust vs Logic. Where we trust unicorns exist but logically it is impossible.For me trusting others is a waste rather believing and trusting your dreams is much logical . Because, people do hurt or betray you . Basic trust is obviously important but rather believing stupid gossips and promises rather believe in the magic of dreams. As we are born alone and die alone.Because , yes magic of belief exists where vision can be converted into reality. The proved theory and real life examples have been explained in ‘The secret’.
Next example is of very famous personality that i could directly relate to this class was ‘Thomas Edison’.
Thomas Edison got back home from school and gave paper to his mom. He said to her, Mother my teacher gave this paper to me and revealed to me just you are to peruse it. What does it say?Her eyes filled with tears, she read the letter anyone can hear about her boy.
“Your son is a Genius. This school is not the right place for him, and there are no efficient teachers to train him. So, please train him yourself.”
Many years later after Edison’s mother passed away, Thomas Alva Edison had become one of the Greatest inventors of the Century. One day, he was checking his cupboard and found a letter, and it was that his childhood teacher wrote to his mother that day. Edison opened the letter.
The matter written in the letter was, ” School cannot allow your son to attend classes anymore, he is mentally impaired. He is rusticated.”
Edison became emotional reading it and then wrote in his diary…
“Thomas A.Edison was a mentally deficient child, whose mother turned him into The Genius of the century.”
A positive word of Encouragement can help change anyone’s destiny.
